KMUTT Researcher Engages in Cutting-Edge Perovskite Seminar

On November 7th, Assistant Professor Dr. Nopporn Rujisamphan, Head of the Interface & Surface Characterization (ISC) Laboratory, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), attended a seminar delivered by Professor Dr. Makhsud Saidaminov from the University of Victoria, Canada, held at NANOTEC, NSTDA. In this talk, Prof. Saidaminov shared his group’s recent advancements in the automated synthesis of centimeter-scale lead halide perovskite single crystals exhibiting reproducibly high crystallinity and their integration into X-ray detectors and imagers. He also discussed progress on scalable fabrication of perovskite polycrystalline thin films using environmentally friendly (green) solvents, emphasizing their successful application in high-performance perovskite solar cells.

Following the seminar, Dr. Nopporn joined Prof. Saidaminov in visiting the cleanroom facilities, where they exchanged ideas on enhancing lab-scale reproducibility during device fabrication processes, reinforcing future opportunities for collaborative research in advanced perovskite optoelectronic technologies.
